The Academy Awards!  Yet another opportunity (along with March Madness, NFL Playoffs, American Idol, etc.) to print out the brackets and put your infinite wisdom on display.  This is especially true for your children.  It's important to show off your inifinite wisdom and shine as a bright intellectual to our offspring.  These types of exercises show them the power of your education and crank up their impressions of you as their hero.

This was the thinking as we gathered for a new family tradition of filling out our predictions and throwing $10 into the pot in a winner-take-all proposition.

Tobias(8): No Country for Old Men ("'Transformers wasn't on there, so picked that one.")

Needless to say, Tobias now has all of our money and has pledged to use the cash to get an education so he "can take care of us when you get old."
